I find joy in many things: my family, the outdoors, Crossfit, sweet corn (Iowa raised), and developing my skills in creativity, problem solving, communication, and leadership. My experiences as a graphic designer, web developer, photographer, and clothing designer have helped me develop a well-rounded skill set to understand how to communicate with clients and team members for successful professional relationships, work smoothly through problems, prioritize, and manage my time both as a professional and as a mother for two crazy kids.

Creating graphic designs gave me the opportunity to not only further develop my creative abilities, but also to understand the best way to translate client needs and expectations into visually pleasing designs that incorporate my own personal touch.

Almost anyone can build a website without the help of a professional these days, but it takes more than selecting a template to make a website effective in the growth of a business. I was able to use my graphic design skills along with my WordPress knowledge to implement unique designs and produce a smoothly functioning and aesthetically pleasing website.
Clothing Designer
There are few things more satisfying than gathering materials and piecing them together to create something beautiful and functional. That process for me included designing the patterns, constructing the clothes, marketing my products, attending pop-up markets, and interacting with customers to ensure satisfaction.

Photography gave me the opportunity to work with many people celebrating very important moments in their lives. It helped me perfect the balance of being warm and friendly while also staying professional. Attention to detail, efficient time management, and flexibility were key skills that I used and refined as a photographer.
